Hello Internet!
How should one start her first blog post?
Am I supposed to pretend I am talking to one person to make it friendlier? The whole internet to make me seem popular? Or just accept the fact that this blog will probably only be read on accident by some desperate teacher up at 3am stumbling through Pinterest trying to find a last minute word work center for tomorrow's lesson. I guess I should just begin with "why?" I LOVE THE INTERNET! I am from the techie generation and I believe in the internet's wondrous capacity for collaboration and creativity. I want a space to contribute what is working in my classroom, share tidbits provided to me by talented colleagues, and participate in discussions with other teachers around the world to find solutions to common classroom confusions. So, this is it! I'll do my best to post teacher tips regularly, but please be patient, dear reader. After all, I am a first year teacher.
